Programs Include:

Medical Assistant:

This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with people in a professional and fast paced environment. Some of the skills taught in this program includes office and computer basics, billing, scheduling and record management. Medical law and ethics, measuring vital signs, basic blood drawing procedures and other clinical tests. Graduates of the medical assistant program could easily find work in a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office.

Nursing Assistant:

Make a difference in the lives of others, in one of the most in demand fields in the country. A few of the skills taught include assisting in admissions, discharges, transferring of patients, assisting with physical examinations, diets and feeding techniques and total hygiene needed for patient comfort. Graduates of the nursing assistant program could find work in hospitals, nursing homes or long term health care facilities.

Internship Program

Undergraduates are give the opportunity to use their knowledge and skills in a real life healthcare environment. Students are taught hands on, and an internship is an excellent way to form a relationship with a potential employer.
