Since 1965, students from around the world have come to Hawaii Pacific University for a first class education, set in the majestic backdrop of beautiful Hawaii. We ensure a great learning experience for our students by keeping class sizes small, providing them with the latest tools and technology and through our staff of highly qualified and accredited teachers. Our three campuses are connected by shuttle and combine the exciting atmosphere of the Island’s urban landscape in our downtown campus, with our residential campus located in the green foothills of the Island. We are the largest private university in Hawaii and, in addition to our Fall and Spring sessions, we offer a winter session as well as several summer sessions. HPU offers over 50 concentrations for undergraduate degrees and 11 graduate programs, meaning that their is something for every student.

Hawaii Pacific University is also one of the most diverse campuses in the world, with students from over 100 countries studying at HPU. We are committed to preparing our students to operate in an increasingly global society.Students are given an international education with a Liberal Arts foundation. In addition to our innovative graduate and undergraduate programs, HPU offers offers a variety of other programs for international study, including:

• Study Abroad: A chance for international students to experience HPU for 1-2 semesters.
• Exchange Programs: Students are given the exciting opportunity of studying in a foreign country, while receiving credits from Hawaii Pacific University. HPU then accepts an equal number of students from International schools, creating a greater diversity on HPU’s campus.
• Up With People: This unique opportunity is a semester long immersive program where students are afforded the opportunity to travel internationally with other HPU students. This programs also includes an in-depth international learning program which exposes students to the regional and global issues facing a foreign culture.

Our exchange program features undergraduate programs in 18 countries, and graduate programs in 7 countries.
